| Thanks Joel. Great write up but it should be on this forum. Stands a better chance of surviving here . Have taken the liberty of converting it to a Word document and saving it for when I do the Caddy. Bill | |

My point still stands,. the ISSF has been rife with aggravation, especially for wagon owners,. and this place is supposed to be the wagon owners nirvana,. with peace and tranquility for all long roof owners (well as peacefull as can be expected with me here anyway,.) So why promote the ISSF as the primary focal point? Mebbe being a moderator skews your loyalty,. I,m just saying.......... Nick PS,. i don't need no fix,. it it don't work,. i don't need it,.

| Come on guys. If you don't like or want to go to ISSF fine. Let's not screw up someone else's thread.
There does not need to be 'us versus them'. I have no problem with cross posting threads. Obviously it would be nice if they were all here but that isn't and won't be the case so live with it.

| Mike will be posting a copy of the sending unit refurbishment in the info site.
This will be my last reply on this thread, so please listen:
We all have our gripes about ISSF. It is definitely imperfect. The crash was absolutely a terrible loss. That said, the old ISSF was also pretty unorganized, undermoderated, full of the same questions asked over and over, and it had its own old baggage too. Sure some of that information was irreplaceable, but look at the opportunities we have to rebuild the forum from the ground up! There are new folks, posting new how-to threads and adding new content every day. It is a unique opportunity to be a part of the rebuilding of the ISSF, and I, all of us, have the chance to be active in that. Do not miss the significance of this!
If one were to ask where my loyalites are, they are to the b-body community, period. Yes, I have responsibilities as a moderator on the ISSF, and I will fulfill those responsibilities as a way to serve the B-body community. I lament split between GMLR and ISSF, but it is not something I have control over so I won't stress over it. Both sites have their unique merits and I will continue to be present on both.
Finally, consider this. The ISSF wagon section now has two of its own as active moderators. We now have representation in the leadership! This is better than it's been in years! Firewood and I will work to find the right balance between an active and vibrant wagon owner community and the rest of the ISSF in a way that benefits all. We are working right now to rebuild the wagon tech information and links, and we could use your help. I understand what happened in the past, but we can't change that. We can, however, shape and create the future, and I encourage you to be a part of it!

We all cruise the issf,. we all post there,. but you'll notice that there's not a lot of meaning ful posts full of information coming from a lot of us here,. most of the time if we have something interesting to say or info to share its comes here,. Some guys then cross post 'over there' but we all know they're post whores,. and we just accept it,. Be nice to see the same level of committment here,. but then some folks like to fix stuff thats already been broke,. and some folks just like to build things right first time so it doesn't break,. m Me? i caint fix nuffin proper,.
