I'd seen an impala on one of the forums with the dash trim overlayed in stainless steel. (Maybe brushed aluminum?) Damn shiny, but different enough to catch my eye. If I recall, it appeared to have had a few other things, knobs and switches changed over to billet as well. Kind of understated, but rich looking.

... and don't forget the big fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror.

I really like a silver color with blue interior. I saw a Gold caprice with blue interior once and I thought it looked pretty good. Yellow would be different for sure but could look cool.

I would say any shade of blue. Colors in the black to grey/silver to white of course. If you want to get artsy browns and shades therof can work nicely with blue. Yellow perhaps as mentioned. Orange and blue oddly works sometimes too.

Silver or grey always contrasts well with blue!

Brown,Yes I said brown,or something from its family. Something earth tone-y....Im considering something like that myself....Troy Traniers,Chicayne is a great example of non traditional colors.IMO...

I put new gasket and O ring on the oil filter adapter housing,.this car has no cooler,.
rotten job trying to scrape the old gasket out of the hole,.but gravity helps,. and my eyes and head caught most of the stuff,.so the oil leak is fixed, and it,s not the rear main seal,.as i was told,.

got a pretty beefy home made hitch on it,. done quite well,.



It breezed thru the 2 speed idle test for emissions,. way under the limits,.

I,ve put about 100 miles on the car,. and its deliciously sloppy riding,.the shock casings are there but i don't think there's a drop of fluid anywhere,.comfy old seats, all tho some ways are not working on them,. so i'll have to pull the seats,.

The air pump still works!!,...

It also has a new to me type of stereo screen thing,. that slides out, i think i can watch movies with it,.?? its a clarion ,..



It doesn't have a twilight sentinel type head light switch,. but the lights come on by themselves when it gets dark,. but no delay when you park,. and it has daytime running lights too, and the fancy rear view mirror,.

I shouldn't have chuckled out loud when i scrapped those 4 wagons,. now i need some parts,.
i need a hood ornament,.and the damn coolant tank has a crack in it, although i think i'll just epoxy it,.

Next mod,... muffler delete,.. and cold air intake etc,.

Coming along nicely! Sometimes it's nice to have a cushy, quiet, stock car. At least that's what I tell myself each time I get one. And then what do I do?

Now it really looks like mine lol... It's much cleaner and more straight of course

I still like the 338's.

Saw a really nice baby blue Cadillac in the wrecking yard that had a two-tone interior.  It's the only way to save an all blue interior and make it classy.  Dash was blue, doors were both colors, blue carpet, white seats and headliner.  Really was bright inside and looked great.  Two-tone with blue/white or red/white would be interesting in our wagons.
