| I converted a 1977 Buick Park Avenue and a 3/4 ton GMC truck in 1979. They could run on either propane or gas, this was before fuel injection. Then gas was $1.40 and propane was $.49 per gallon. Today, I think propane is quite a bit more expensive than gas. Plus using it as a motor fuel it is way more expensive.
In those days I was a reseller so it was relatively inexpensive; but those days are over. To convert in 79 was $1000 probably that would be $3000 today. Alternative fuel is a good idea, but I don't think propane is, do not confuse with natural gas--two entirely different things.

Tom C. Maybe once they find one that's cost effective, and makes sense. Mike

You would have to get liquified natrual gas to make it work. The stuff you get at home is piped in its gaseous state.
