| nope.
Old parts/design on new cars..... not a fan. Leave the tri-5 design cues to the tri-5's.

| Not seeing it.
If it wasn't for the rear quarters, it would be a sweet ride. Where's the vomit smiley again?
Between the Impala SS scripts, the poorly radiused wheelswells, and the now-uglied lower trim, I'd say the best thing you could do for it was back it into something solid at a high rate of fuel consumption.
Then you would have an excuse to cut all that backyard restyling off and weld on new panels
At least it has a maroon interior so I won't feel bad when it gets crushed.
(Sorry, that just came out.)

| If they hadnt cut up the rear fenders it might look better but it just look cluttered with too many body mods! |

| Fail. Four door nomad with Impala SS script???
It does look like they shaved the filler door. I wonder if it's in the correct place now...
They should have shaved or at least hidden the rear doors.

| I like the back end - but then I am a sucker for older cars with fins and miss that styling element. Could it have been done better? sure - but for the constraints they had to work within this looks pretty nice. | |

| If they were going for a classic look...why did they cut out the rear wheel-wells? | |

As I think you know Douglas, the gas filler on the 56's was behind the driver side tail light. It was on hinges and would swing out. Tom

To make it look as bad as it possibly could? Based on the tailgate trim they were going for the Nomad look and the '55 Nomads had open rear wheelwells. Of course now that they are using the '56 taillights... Uh, nevermind. - J

Douglas, it did swing out, didn't it? Got thinking about it, and wasn't sure if something dropped down. Tom

Wasn't quite sure. I had one 55 and three 57's, no 56's.
