| Don't see too many "frame-on" rotisseries... | |

| The picture I've posted is actually the first one I've seen like that. Most car rotisseries are meant for the body. The frame and suspension stay on the ground.
To roll the entire car, power train and all, you'd need a pretty heavy duty structure, that would be HEAVY. Theoretically though, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

| ^^^Yeah.
No way I would want to tackle rotating an entire 4000+ lb car.

http://www.accessiblesystems.com/et/et.php Local GM dealer has similar one to show off the undercoating system they sell. Service tech said it only required a long bar and a couple of strong arms to flip a chevy Lumina. You have to remove the lower wheels and tires and bolt the rig to the wheel studs. Thought at the time would be a good thing. They also have a dual ramp, drive on tilter to showcase used cars. Just drive it on till it goes over center and the whole thing tilts flat as soon as the forward weight of the car goes beyond the center of gravity. About $150.00 worth of structural steel and ramps, some welding and you have a poor mans lift with about 5 ft. of clearance under the car. Bill

thats funny right there,. and just begging for a smart ass reply,. something about the Upper wheels can stay on,..?? Let me re-phrase that for the geometrically challenged: You have to remove the wheels and tires and bolt the rig to the wheel studs for the hubs that will, when in the tilted condition, be oriented closest to the ground (thus the lower). There is no need to remove the wheels and tires from the hubs that will be oriented furthest from the ground (the upper). Should you then wish to tilt the car in the other direction, then you must first lower the car to its normal orientation, remove the tilt jigs and replace them with wheels and tires, then repeat the process on the opposing side of the car, thus reversing the tilted orientation of the car. In other words, buy a set and read the instructions . Bill
