| How's the rest of the car in terms of rust? Nice thing about fixing floor pans is you don't have to worry about them looking perfect since no one will see them. It's the visible body work that's a kicker. | |

| Fiberglass and polyester resin. Do the inside and outside. Get a really good resin fill with no voids. | |

| Didn't pull carpet up ss I'm still driving it now. Looked undercar last oil change and was disheartened. Metal is rusted and flexible. Can see small spots of carpet. Don't believe its as bad as those pictures of ingenuity....lol. | |

| I think that expanding foam stuff actually soaks up water like a sponge. | |

No it doesn't,. I've made 3 floating docks, using expanding foam sprayed on the stringers and the underside of the deck the wood rots away,. the foam doesn't get compromised. I used it to fill the quarter panel spaces in the old gold rust bucket we used to have. Kept out ice and snow. nick

nick It must depend on the specific type, then. I have some that has been exposed to the elements and it seems to wick moisture.

| Floor in a can. I wouldn't let the kids in this car, the rear seat pans, and floors were gone, and the gas tank was held in with ratchet straps. | |
