Looking for new bushings. Mine are crap. What's the diameter of a stock wagon swaybar, if anyone happens to know?

*Bump*

I'm in the process of doing the same. Rockauto and Summit says our cars got 30mm. Is 28 or 30 correct?

Both. Check to see which you have 1st. If you have the 28mm, you can probably score a cheap 30mm at the junkyard. I've given a lot of them away over the years.

And, the quickest way to check is with a 28mm open end wrench Wink

Oh that is brilliant! I'd have spent the rest of the afternoon lying under the car fighting a measuring tape.  Laughing

I don't have a 28mm open wrench so I would use a vernier, graduated crescent wrench, or a piece of string and divide by pi. Assuming you can't trust the RPO codes...

AFAIK, its the original sway bar. But what that means the car got from the factory is a whole different animal.
