Does anyone know if a remote start can cause intermittent running problems? Have the Pass key on the Tank and have a remote start installed a while ago. I believe it has the bypass mod with it or it wouldn't work. Every mech I have taken it to cant get it to stall out. I drive it for one day and spit sputter and almost quit. At my wits end on the issue. Any help will be appreciated.

John, have you checked your fuel pump pressure?

Tom

All fluids and pressures check out. I have installed a new fuel pump, (the good one), fuel filter, coil, ICM, plugs, wires, and optispark. No one has had any issues with the pass key after installing a remote start?

Did it ever work? The resistor installed to bypass the passkey could be the wrong value or have a poor connection.

It did work for a while but I removed the system and it still cuts out. Found one of the wires for the MAF sensor pulled out. Can the MAF sensor make the car not run right?

I have posted on FB the issues I have been having with the Tank. Check vacuum lines, clogged fuel filter, clogged cat convertor, bad ground, broken wire in harness, bad fuel pump. I still have to run checks on all those items and because of winter it makes it a little tougher.(no garage) Anyone here believe on of these could be my issue? I'm at my wits end and my wife wants me to sell/trade it in. Need some guidance, Thanks.
