| Thought I would start a post as we have quite a few long distance travelers.
I made it home. Nine hours to get there, 7.5 hours to get back. I did take a 1/2 hour nap on the way out, missed the back up driver.

| Made it back today after filling my trailer with a recliner, 800 lbs of pavers and a face cord of wood. She pulled like a boss at 8 mpg through the hills of northern PA. Got my workout loading and unloading! | |

| Pulled out of Microtel lot at exactly 9 AM......pulled into my driveway in Maine at exactly 5 PM. Cruise control set on 70 all the way, Pandora streaming '80s Summer Hits, couple of rest stops and a stop at the New Hampshire boozeria for replenishments. Great time seeing all the new friends I made last year and new ones this year! Thanx, Dave, for all you do and I'm hoping/planning to be at Hershey in Oct.....actually only a 4-hour drive to that one for me from CT | |

| Made it to Detroit,on to Cleveland tomorrow, then home! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for welcoming my wife and I so warmly. The wagon is touring like it was new. Also the roads and highways are so much nicer than ours at home. P.s. Thanks for the award! Shamelessly and self sevingly yours, Donmac | |

| Made it home safely after... oh wait. I was already home. It was great to see everyone. Hopefully I can make it next year, especially if the date is shifted earlier as it was this year. Donmac: I liked your car so much that I bought one just like it last night- a red 1996 from SC. I'll pick it up next week. | |

| Dave, the date is always the same. It always was and always will be the last Saturday of July. It simply makes it easier to plan that way.
The 2016 Wagonfest will be held on July 30,2016
Thanks for your help with the photos.

| Lost the a/c an hour into the trip home... lost some time trying to figure that out. Arrived at home by 10pm a little sweaty and sporting that weird one arm sun burn. Had a great time, would definitely do it again. | |

| Historically , the pictures from Wagonfest are always in the Long Roof of the Month thread. You can find them there. https://gmlongroof.4umer.com/f24-lrom Sounds like you might not be familiar with the command "View posts since last visit" It bring up anything that 's been posted for you. | Made it home safely. After 1800 mi. loop to Auburn Hills MI, then back to Cleveland, then home through the heart of the Adirondacks. The wagon ran like a top. Not to mention cheap gas!(compared to home) Best wishes to all! ✌️ Donmac | |

no real issues with philly traffic we only spent just less than two hours downtown. $17.50 to park my son got to punch Stalone in the gonads. saw the liberty bell and he got his philly cheese steak

| He was trying to "look cool" for the photo by the bell. but he truly enjoys being a smart a$$ for the photos.
Seeing the liberty bell was 100 % his idea though. to me it was just a bell with a crack in it. to me seeing Arlington cemetery would be more of a pull for me.
Although I got to see a wagon exhibit at the AACA auto museum in Hershey, the army museum in Carlisle and driving on the blue ridge parkway were more enjoyable for me.
