| I just got my '94 RMW back from the upholstery shop after having a new headliner installed. I drove it home this afternoon around 5:00 with no problems. I just went out to get something out of the back seat and when I unlocked the door with the remote, I noticed that none of the interior lights came on. I got to checking some more things electrical and I have no map lights, no power mirrors, no lock buttons on the door panels, no lighted vanity mirrors, and who knows what else.
Has anyone else ever had this problem and could share some quick insight before I go into a full fledged electrical problem hunt. The remote works the locks, putting the car in park unlocks the doors as putting it in gear locks them. I don't have an owner's manual or a chassis manual for a trouble shooting guide and was hoping that someone here might be able to shed some light on the problem,
Thanks, Ed | |

| It was a fuse. The fuse controls the interior lights. I just never thought that locks would be tied to interior locks. Learn something new every day. | |

| Isn't it great when the fix is easy? |

| Yes it is. The hardest part was reprogramming my radio. I "borrowed" a fuse from the radio to check the other circuit. Put the radio fuse back where it belonged and the radio reverted back to the DEMO mode. ARRGHHH! But all's well that ends well. Now for a return trip to the upholsterers so he can reconnect the vanity lights in the visors.
