Was going to post this in the Brakes section, but this had more to do with upgrading the older generation.

Just had the control arms, springs, and front shocks replaced. And when I had a look at the rotors and calipers... at the very least the rotors need replacing after 108k.

Stock replacements:  ACDelco 18A57 and some nice pads would be fine, but, if I am going to change something, I should upgrade. I did see the sticky for the Astro brake upgrade with thicker rotors, but I want something a little more direct.

Here's the kicker: the current rotors are 11", but is it possible to go to 12" without interfering with anything and running 15" turbine wheels?

I found this kit that fits a 1993 caprice, so I assume it "should" fit my 80's wagon:
Power Stop Z26 Street Warrior Performance Brake Kits with Calipers KC2936-26

Also curious if anyone has any experience with this brand, or have any other recommednations. Thanks all!

Turbines fit fine on the 12" factory rotors. Don't buy a kit, just pick up the spindles you need along with rotors and calipers. Buy used.

Appreciate the response, I completely forgot about the spindles.
And yeah, I do like the Astro upgrade is a thicker rotor vs just bigger. Even though I don't have to worry about ABS, I'll look more into that option.

One thing to note is that you will, on a boxy, need to probably get different brake hoses if you do the Astro rotor/J55 caliper thing. The 14-96 cars have metric brake fittings and the box cars are standard.

ASK ME HOW I KNOW (I learned during my ABS delete on my '92)

Don't forget the different lugs. Std/metric...
