Gear indicator recalibration Empty

1991 OCC with stock column shifter. Dropped the steering column during radio install. Went back together well but now the gear indicator is one off; Overdrive is showing as neutral and so on through the entire range. Any one know a fix for this?

You must remove the clip on the cable from the rotating part of the column, and move it to where the indicator is aligned with the gear the trans is in. You can do this in park. I suggest that you remove the knee bolster, and the column loop, or you will need very skinny hands to reach the clip.

Thanks, Fred. It worked like a charm - once I knew how. Five minute fix.
