My new (to me) 94' Caprice running Corvette ralleys on 235/75/15's
It rubs on the wheelwell on the driver side.
What do I do first? Ditch the ralleys, is it indeed suspension related?
Thanks.

A. Your body is probably crooked on the frame. Solution is center the body on the chassis. This may or may not totally stop the rubbing.
B. The offset on the wheels is not correct for the car. Solution is to have the rims redrilled to a 5 on 5 pattern. They can be drilled for a dual bolt pattern, and use proper shims. Total net offset should be 6 mm.
C. Adapters are too thick. Solution is to use thinner adapters to achieve 6 mm net offset.

I'm currently running a 225 /60 tire with 15x8 Vette rally wheels with no issues . These are a 5x5 bolt pattern (direct bolt on ) that I purchased from Summit Racing

I mean she's pretty mint and rust free, anything is possible I guess.
I guess I'll dive into it here after I deal with a no heat issue.
I was going to ditch the ralleys for my SS wheels but tires were a few days out.

Many of these cars left the factory uncentered. These cars were built during a low point for GM. They used cheap materials and shoddy assembly practices.
