Subject: VSS driven gear Fri Dec 18, 2009 8:30 am
I need a 41 tooth VSS gear for my 91 OCC. I am changing tire size on the rear, and the recomended gear is the 41. I have a 44 on it now. The color code for the gear is supposed to be yellow. I can get a new one, but would rather get one from someone here on the forum. The FSM for a 92 Caprice says that it would have come off of a car with a GU4 (3.08) and with 215/75/R15s on it.

Found one locally. I was informed that they do not make the 40 and 41 tooth driven gears anymore. I will have a 44 tooth gear for sale when I upgrade the tires, and change mine.
