| I just set plans with my family for accommodations and company, only factor left would be work. Ha. I'll hit up Bossman tomorrow. It looks good, and would give me an excuse to tighten up the things I'm still slacking on. Ha. First road trip... Oh boy. | |

| My sister and her husband live in Winchester. It's not a thing to crash their party and even bring them along. Ha. Don't necessarily like my Sister too much, but my brother in law is good people. Ha. | |

| Ok I plan to make the fest... The only issue is the wagon it's not running ordered a new all aluminum radiator and went to install yesterday and the fittings for the trans cooler lines are the wrong size. Will sort that out today or order a new one. Put me down for 2 as I plan to attend with my son Ethan. Jeff | |

| Unfortunately I will be unable to attend WagonFest as originally planned due to an unexpected change in my schedule. I'm sorry to miss as it appears it will be a lot of fun. I was really looking forward to meeting you all. Paul | |

| I had trouble yesterday with Shammoo on my way to my son'e auto repair shop. Check the compression, off in cylinder #8, down by 25%, plug oil coated, trail of oil down the block on the outside of #8, and along that side of the tranny housing. Looks like a major head gasket burn through/blow out. Was going to pull the motor anyway due to leaking main seals. and a previously suspected gasket leak. Now it's certain to happen as an over the winter project.
As a result, the only way to get there would be to take the HHR SS. On the fence at the moment about it. Doesn't seem right in my conscience to show up a wagonfest without Shammoo in tow (figuratively or literally) Will need to decide within 24 hours for the sack of peace and sanity around here.
Open to opinions before the door of opportunity slams shut on this.

| Dave
You've planned this thing for several months, and arranged for the time off. Â I'm assuming the Mrs. has planned on a few days out of Dodge also. Â Rather than running the WF show, you'll be on the other sided of the counter and will get a different perspective. Â
As you know, there's always someone who has car problems right before, never fails to happen. Â Not everyone drives wagons to a WF, always 2 or 3 that don't. Â Remember, these things are ole klunkers, on a good day.
Come on down as planned, enjoy it, the camaraderie, talking to the guys. Â Do a couple of other things with the Mrs. (non car related). Â Yeah, it's too bad Shammoo is bailing, but if you don't go, you'll really be sorry. Â
Off the top of my head, I know Philadelphia John, has shown up in his van because his wagon wasn't road worthy. Â He always has a good time, as does his wife and 3 kids.
Oh, and don't forget I'm bringing the door lights for you, and I refuse to ship. Â
See you Friday.
Tom

| sounds like a valve cover leak,..
not enough fire and squeeze to come out the side,.has to crossover waterjackets, would be pressuring the rad,.
25% down will still fire,..i,d guess the plug has quit,..
My best internet guess,.
Oil drain back plugged up inside valve cover,. oil drowning the last two valves, valve seals submerged,..
just a guess,.

We'll bring baby Shammoo instead (HHR SS) It will certainly be a quieter ride.

| Baby Shammoo gets almost double the highway mileage 32 vs 18. We will head to New England afterward. Hopefully will join a wagon train when everyone from that direction heads home on Sunday. | |

| Weather is looking great for the weekend! Mid 60s and sunny! http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/bentonville-va/22610/daily-weather-forecast/2219455I will be placing a donation jar out at registration on Saturday for those who wish to contribute toward expenses. It looks like our peak of color was last weekend so the leaves won't be quite as vibrant but still plenty of color. On the good side of that, hopefully we won't have as many 'Leafers' (tourists from DC) clogging up the roads. | |

Can I get a roundabout address? Really looking forward to the road trip and seeing family at the least. Hope this turns out to be as fun as it seems.
