Oh. Well....humm....lol You would know I thought you pulled it from the white '95. Ok. Now this is interesting. Sent Pat an e-mail and he said he just unplugged his wagon harness and plugged the sedan one right in. I don't see that happening as my light harness has things needed for the LT1 car and this one has none of that. Might be splicing and butt connector time?

| That's fine Billy, I think I can make this work (gonna lay it all out and see) I needed the extra horn and parking light wiring no matter what! Tonight I started cleaning/stripping the inner fenders and front wheelwells. Hoping to finish that up and make them match the core support in finish (the truck bed coating) . | |

Nick I....I....dunno....but I do know I will never live it down. lol _____________ Ok, so I stripped the inner fenders down to bare metal and used the truck bed coating again (same stuff I used for the core support) WOW! They look amazing. Hard to tell from these pics as it got dark on me. But just wait till they are on. Its gonna look real nice I think (and be very tuff) .

| Can I say this? I HATE brake lines. Lol STILL mucking with these things. Bought new calipers, brake hoses today and have all the front lines hooked up (and the axle lines hooked to hose) The ABS to rear frame brake line was made in 2 pieces. I have the front section in (thank God) so I can actually bolt the trans crossmember in and start on engine stuff finally since that section ends down near the fuel filter. The back piece is still not right. I have it pretty close, but it needs to be cut down and re-flared yet again. Needless to say, I have learned an important lesson when it comes to these lines. KEEP EVERY rusty @ss piece you take off, tape it back together...and send it to Classic Tube for a copy. I know you can get the Impala SS set for the front area...but the guy at CTube really told me the 94 was the same as a 96. Its not. He didn't believe me and said they could make the lines only if I sent my old ones. I just wish I would have kept my old lines. They were so bad and I was so naive. LOL!!! Ok. Rant over. Just don't look too closely at my lines when the hood is open. Ok? I'll try to add some more bling bling to distract. Chris | |

lmao, when I did the opti on Dusty right after purchase, they only had one color in the size I needed for the plug wires.........white. | So, I guess I have a pretty good Mother-n Law... "Chris, why are you still driving around with that hood in the back of your blue wagon? Oh, you have nowhere safe to put it? Humm, why don't you stick it in the back bedroom! No, I don't mind. Oh sure..you can keep a couple other things in there too." . Here is a little shot of my new brakes. I have used THESE (you need both left and right) rotors with much success in the past. I know some say the cross drilled rotors might crack with these big cars, but I have never had that happen with the sets I had on past wagons. I don't have the $$ to upgrade to bigger brakes right now, so this will be good enough. I also bought some HAWK pads. I put a light coat of high temp paint on the rotors to keep the rust away while I finish up. I will wipe the contact area down with thinner when the time comes to actually move this thing. (prob pop on the old pads for a run up the block too) Reman calipers from Napa and new brake hoses (just the OEM rubber ones) as well as new bolts. Nothing too fancy, but it will get the job done and save a bit of $$ for the bodywork and paint (gulp) .

| Hey.. The brake pad is on backwards. The Squeek tab is susposed to go on under the caliper ( well reverse how it is now) It does not REALLY matter but to keep it like it was from the factory, Thats the right way. the R/s pad should go on the l/s and visa versa | |

At the time he didn't know the sedans had a different clip until he got it home and then he made it fit. Which he did a fair job keeping the wagon inner fenders. I still have the guy's email so when you are all done I'll be sure to send him some pics as he's a car guy.

| Don't bother wiping the rotors off before you drive it. The pads will wear away the paint pretty quick. Just drive gently until that happens. | |

Thanks man! Well, I don't know if she will be ready or not...we will see I still need to call you about the light harness issue too! I did pick up a LT1 RMS light harness and a good section of wiring AFTER the plug. Gonna look and see what matches up on my harness. I also noticed that the LT1 RMS have cornering lights (green socket)...the TBI ones do not. (note missing socket hole on all TBI cornering lights) I didn't know that! ALSO...the bumper trim on the TBI sedans are made of real metal and very well made. I snagged a nice center piece with no screw holes this weekend. All should polish up nicely! Note the RUBBER BACKING too. HUGE change on the 95 and 96 cars (is 94 the same or no?) All I can say is that the Atlanta Pull a Parts were good to me Bought some more horns..lights..a very nice complete front '95 brakeline set... I am officially stockpiling RMS front parts. Lol I am an addict. I once thought I would never be able to find nice trim parts, now I am a hoarder. . ____________ Radio also came in while we were out of town too I had to upgrade to the CD/Tape combo! .
