Well, your support keeps me going sometimes! I honestly appreciate it and all the great advise/tips I get.
It was such a good feeling to have it actually move and stop (mainly the stopping part). It is amazing what you can do under a carport with hand tools and fire ants! lol
I am pretty sure I will be able to get the exhaust fabbed up this Sat....crossing fingers! Then I can really take it out for some shakedown runs. I do have to say this, I LOVE the view from behind the wheel with the RMS hood (ornament shaved too) ...really sweet curves and it is awesome looking over that and then looking in the rearview mirror to see all the wagon goodness in the back. I am so glad I did the Sedan clip!!

Thanks! It is still coming together, but nothing has fallen off/blown up yet! That is a plus. lol I will mention that I fixed my front lights..and all work as they should now! (so Pat can't get on me anymore)
So...I have exhaust now! So glad it went well and its done (for now) I needed to save some $ right now, so the over axle pipes will be made down the road. No rush right now. It really is pretty smooth and deep! I love it!
I will take much better video/sound clips later on for you guys. Here is a rundown of what I have..
. Wear headphones...sound is not the best...sorry.

Spark plug anti-foulers make great O2 sims too. Remove O2, screw in anti-fowler, screw O2 back in..
Chris, can't wait to see 'er in a few weeks!

Thanks!! They were kinda teasing me about the "grocery getter" when I pulled in. Lol But they had lots of questions once it was up in the air
Pat, it is still new..(lol) needs to flatten out! :p
Nick, I appreciate the compliment! I bought an EGR block off plate this week and put it on this afternoon, but that did not solve the issue. Was hoping though.

Well, its been awhile. Honestly...with my sister's wedding and some other travel I've done lately...its slow going
I still have not gotten any headway on that engine issue. I might look at it tomorrow, but tomorrow is the last day I have to do anything to the OCC before my trip up to VA. (that is gonna be a fun weekend!)
This project is still going forward, just a little slower at the moment.

Chris, when you get to VA. be sure to back your OCC up to that Fleetwood couch in the garage, drop the tailgate, prop your feet up and take a pic. I remembered after I left

That couch IS quite comfy.
One step closer Chris! Sure you don't want to drive it up here next weekend?

What is this Fleetwood couch I keep hearing of?

A couch apparently made out of the rear seat of a Fleetwood Brougham.
When I parted mine, I was tempted to do the same, but ran out of time and never did. Thinking about it, it would make an awesome piece in the dorm room now....

It's great knowing that you're out there to inspire and motivate me
Love the exhaust tips spitting out and down from the mufflers. It's probably the best/easiest way to leep from damaging them. I haven't found any other solution that I like. Next time I end up doing something requiring me to d some tip-straightening, I may very well just cut mine short.
Can't wait to see it with the wood all removed and bumpers on (and am anxious to see what you decide upon up front).

Well, if you end up doing your tips like mine...plan on spending a little $$ to sound deaden the floor in the cargo area. Its not bad, but Mike (BigOldV8) has the same setup and its a lot quieter due to his Hushmat.
If been driving the Roadmaster daily (love it!) and really think I've worked the bugs out of the engine. The last little stumbling issue ended up being the coil.
Also glad my dashmat has finally settled down. Lol Hoping to start the bodywork this fall/winter!!

Worked on the wagon some tonight. Finally got around to installing the CD/Tape player. Also put in the new stalk. Fixed the back passenger seat pocket too. It was off when I bought the wagon. (busted clips)
Vacuumed/cleaned the interior for the 1st time. Really in nice shape for a 180k wagon...very glad the 2 previous owners protected the mats/carpet/seats! Ran out of daylight, so sorry for the dark interior pics. Ruby Red is so pretty (and I love Limited Cloth!)

Mike's off to order a new stalk now.
Side note: Mine looks like crap and most of the letters and pictures are worn off of it.

Can you clearcoat the turn signal stalk before you start washing away those letters with Windex?

Thanks guys! I do appreciate it!
That is a really good idea Joel...I need to pull that off and clear it. You can get these stalks pretty cheap on E-bay still (I need to grab one for the OCC too) I also have a new brake pedal pad to install also. Fred always told me to check the stalk and pedal pads to see the 'true miles'
Lorne, what is your vote? I would love to have a black wagon someday...but I have to see how the bodywork lines out. Its gotta be right, or just make it white. lol
Basically waiting to see how my year end bonus pans out, then its full speed ahead for the outside. (if it is really good...white/silver. Really REALLY good...black)

Oh lawd...this is on hold for now. I was hoping people would forget about it! I am gonna store it and focus on the Jadestone wagon right now since it needs very little work to make it right. Just got some new motivation this past weekend!! (plus I just don't have the $$ to finish the '96 since the body is a mess)

Chris I couldnt agree with you more about the OCC being the best wagon ever.Cant bring myself to put it up for sale.I just keep fixing it up a little bit at a time. Those wheels really make your wagon pop. What size are the rims and tires? Keep Up the Mods Jim Gordon
