| They were $140 out the door (lol).
I have to return my others as cores, which seems pretty weird to me, but hey - they're REALLY nice.
Panels were in great shape too. Those might end up making their way to CT.
I figure since a lot of guys charge $80-100 just for the mirrors, I did okay. |

| Got the door. Started to disassemble to install new parts: I need the door hinges for the driver's front door (top and bottom), and also a driver's side 95/6 mirror. |

| New door hinges arrived. Painted them, since they were white. Tim explaining the finer points of door alignment. In other words: it's a pain in the ass. Both doors off. Getting somewhere. Dash surround is off because I pilfered the radio for another car. Also, looking for a set of wagon cargo area carpet, color doesn't matter. The wood thing was cool, but it was noisy and I kept damaging it by actually using the car. No bueno. Gutting the donor wagon rear door. Re-using my original glass since it's already tinted to save money. Back side painted. On car. It shuts, but it needs alignment work. The body shop will do the fine tuning. Painted the inner fender and the backside of the driver's door, which was also gutted. Then put those pieces on. Still to do: Finish bolting down driver's front fender (darkness approached), hang passenger front door, replace hood, change lock cylinders in both doors, put the correct glass in driver's rear and passenger front glass (and re-tint driver's front...), remove trim, 3 more door handles, electric fan swap, probably passenger outer tie rod end... and find it wheels. |

| I'm sure you thought of this already, but do not tighten up the front end while on jack stands. | |

I solved that by jacking the arms until the frame starts to lift off of the jackstand. It can be done one side at a time. There is plenty of room to get under the car to tighten the bottom arms, and it will not fall on you because it is still on the jackstand. | |

Yeah, the doors are tight, but the fender doesn't even have bolts in it yet. I just wanted to get it off the floor really. It's coming together... again... I'm getting tired of doing this LOL |

| I've noticed that these wagon's, especially Ms. Roadie, are like magnets for people to pull out in front off. I don't know maybe it's just me, or maybe it's Ms. Roadie's color scheme; white with faded faux wood paneling, that seems to make my wagon invisible to the dumb@$$ drivers that pull out in front of me. I've had several near misses over the last couple years. All of them resulting in me yelling/cussing, while simultaneously slamming on the brakes (I actually like my ABS) and the horn pads, trying to avoid a collision. And every time I try to honk the horn I can't seem to hit the chicken wing pads at the right angle so the horn never goes off. One time my 8 year old was in the car and he asked me why I yell at the other drivers because they can't hear me. SMH Son it makes daddy feel better. Just say'n it might not always be your fault Stingroo. I'm glad you're getting the Roo Wagon operational again. | |

LMAO at your "chicken wing pads"comment, same thing happens to me and by the time I blow the horn the offender is long gone.On my OCC the horn pads definitely appear to have been added at the last minute! |

| Lumina Eurosport wheel. The Monte Carlo steering wheel that's touted is more modern looking, and everyone uses it for the radio controls, which I don't really care about. |

| This is the Monte Carlo wheel. Not from an SS though as they weren't being made in the mid 90's. I did it to add modern features to a 20 year old car. | |

I was referring to a mid 80s rear wheel drive MC SS. |

| Man why do some pictures load for me and other don't? Any-ways. I'm currently in negotiations with cadet57 for the lumina wheel he has/had for sale. I know he's going through a patch right now, I'm just waiting on the final estimate with shipping before I get my lumina wheel and I can do away with those blasted chicken wings and an air bag that's old enough to legally get intoxicated. | |

that's a little known forgotten fact, the tail light surrounds on 91's were redish in colour and not black like they were on the 92-96's so ray has a 91 tail light, with an I've never seen before red back up light hmmmmm

Actually, while that IS true, those aren't 91 tails. Look closer and you'll see that the reverse light is also painted. I asked the body shop guy in Jacksonville to candy red the tails like the ones on his truck at the time. He did, but he didn't tape off anything. It drives me nuts now. |
