| If you look at the hood, there is a very VERY subtle line that goes through the center. That's how they all are. |

| I know about the creases on both sides running front to rear but not any in the center! |

| ^ Right. He just has to shape the new metal that will cover the hood hole. He did it last time: Pardon my fingerprints. lol |

It is there, I shaved my hood, and formed it myself. The hood would look weird without it. I sanded from each side toward the center. When you do that, it almost forms itself. You just have to knock the sharp edge off of it. It is subtle.

| Yeah. I had to dig for the photo of my hood there to get it good enough. It's, I think, more noticeable on my car because of the satin finish. |

Passenger side inner fender is being replaced tonight, car is being re-blocked. Paint scheduled for tomorrow. Pick up... Wednesday? We shall see. |

| Car went into the spray booth tonight.
He called and said he wanted to replace the front metal bumper. He didn't like how it sat, looked bent. Only cost me $15 - so I told him to go ahead and grab one. |

I should hope so. I'm pretty sure he spent more than 30 bucks on his paint job.

Although really not all that much considering all the work done to it.
Also - note shaved hood ornament again (let's keep it this way... plz). |

| Yeah. He says he did. He had a tail light to shape it with this time. My old tail was broken and the contour plastic bit wasn't really there to guide him. I got a new (to me) set from Rob H. in Daytona.
Better pics tomorrow when I pick it up. |

| Bit of a delay. There's some crud in the paint on the hood, so he will respray it today. Pick up tomorrow.
Also - anybody know what I can do to get the front chrome strip in the bumper? All the ones in yards here are crap. I think I've seen somebody replace theirs with the rounded trim from a parts store? I'm thinking I'll get that, replace the trim, and see what I think of it. Maybe plasti dip it so it blends in or some such. |

| Ray,
Ask TX Mike. If I remember correctly, he did something similar to his RMW front bumper.

| Just go to autozone or wherever and grab the 1/2" (or whatever size you need) bumper trim molding. It comes in a roll for like 15 bucks. The stuff is super flexible and works great. For the outer corners, you may want to have a heat gun handy, but probably won't need it. | |

We'll see tomorrow, I guess. This is depressing. |

| Moar lower is happening over the summer. Along with the front end rebuild, once I get moved away from school.
I found the radiator for $70 + $4 overnight shipping from Amazon. Can't beat that. Local rad shop said $50 to braze it, and the local yard here is on crack and they want $50 (AND UP) +$15 core for radiators.
Soo.... got a new one. |

| Yep. It'll be here tomorrow. One exam at 8am (8-11am), then work from 11-4, and I can get on it. Plenty of daylight left to cycle over to Vatozone and get some coolant and fix it. |
