Ewe guys crack me up.
Wagons hold 4x8 sheeps of plywool. It's their shear size.
Dave was upset the sheep didn't share the blanket - she liked to hogget.
This explains Pat's muttonchop sideburns.
A baa is no longer just for Crovo's Happy Hour.
Is a shepherd who gets fired considered deflocked?
Wool you knock it off now?
Sheepishly,

| Back to WF: I want to thank all of you that attended this year, because without all you die hards driving for hours upon hours to a two day family reunion, there would be no WF. So... Thank you again for showing up not knowing what to expect with Fred and Kelly not running the show. Anyway, WF'11 is going to be Sat. July 30th. in Waterloo/Geneva, NY. at the Seneca State park in shelter #2, same place as this year. Joel will be running the show, and I will be the help more or less. I am already thinking of how the next one could be better... So, I have control over the food, how could it be better? Not enough of what? To much of what? How was lunch? How was dinner? Should I do anything different? I have a few of my own thoughts and ideas, and maybe I'm crazy for asking, but give me your thoughts... and don't worry I have no feelings, so they won't be hurt. | I'd also be interested to hear how the other aspects of WF11NY could be improved. A couple of thoughts off the top of my head: 1. Friday afternoon had a bunch of folks all spread out. If this is fine with everybody, then great. Otherwise I think it makes best sense to hang out together. Stew's auto repair place was a bit small and there's no shade there. 2. The friday night get together at the truck stop was a great success - we had 20+ cars there. 2. Saturday: the chance auction didn't seem to get much traction. Fortunately it helped pay the bills and we ended the fest just about perfectly in the black. How can we better advertise it or make it more clear? | |

| Just a few comments.
Food - No complaints. There seemed to be a lot of lunch food leftover but dinner was nearly perfect, there was very little left over. I also think having the casual dinner at the park was a great idea.
Friday - I liked the more um.. spontaneous activities of Friday myself. I know there are those who would disagree though. Perhaps someone would volunteer to be point for coordinating Friday events should folks wish for more.
Cruise-In and dinner at the truck stop was great.
Saturday - I think actually the chance auction went quite well. I'd have to look at my papers (if I still have them) to see but we sold a good amount of tickets and there was certainly considerable interest in a number of the items donated. It was the reason we were able to reimburse Fred for the pavilion rental as well as a few other expenses. Could it be better? Most likely.

| Food: I really liked the casual dinner arrangement at the pavilion as opposed to getting all dressed up in our finest Homer Simpson pajama pants and going someplace fancy. Kudos on that. The spot was rented for the whole day, and we're already all together. It just made great sense.
That said - I never minded Abagails, I just liked this better.
Friday: I agree with Mike. We're a tight enough group that we all know how to contact each other, even if it takes a relay. I think it'd be smart to have a listed rendevous point or contact info's for newbs to catch up to us - but for the most part I like the idea of Friday during the day sort of "taking care of itself" as we do whatever we need to do to prepare for Saturday - with a suggested evening rally point like this year. I can't imagine - in a town that small with that many of us all there - that there'd be a lost sheep we didn't wrangle back to the flock within the hour.
I thought the auction was a slick idea.

And there's NOTHING WRONG with Homer pants. I missed hot dogs? d@mn! It being my first fest I have nothing to compare too. Friday was good as I did find a shady place to wax my car (first time it saw wax since I bought it), although I felt guilty about leaving the kids to watch TV in the hotel room. Friday night was great at the cruise in, we all had alot of fun. Saturday was perfect and I personally LOVED to auction, lol. Just wished it was a little longer, would have a come a day earlier except all the rooms were booked Will know better for next time...

| Fri night was good,. (liked the flames outta that old ford,) Fri was good, no schedule, eat where you want,. find a patio for a beer or two etc,. Sat was fine, BBQ stuff is great for most folks,.,.pizza is popular too Don't try too hard to make things perfect, Utopia is just a place on the map,.People make good times, not places or itinerarys',. its always best to offer up what you have, and if folks don't like it or want it the can do alternative arrangements,. (food wise i mean) perhaps next time while doing the auction prize thing, perhaps get new faces to stand and tell who they are, where they are from etc? jm2c Nick auction was......interesting? | |

| not a bad idea... if nothing else, the winner of each item tells who they are a what vehicle they drive. After three wagon fests, I know several people on sight, but there are still many that if I ran over with Shammoo, I'd think "just another fricking speed bump". It's my own fault for not introducing my self to more faces that I don't recognize. (... and if I don't know you, consider this message as a warning to jump out of the way ) | |

| i really injoyed staying at the park and having dinner there. it saved the rushing back to hotel and getting cleaned up for dinner. i thought the auction was pretty cool and it was a good idea getting donations from venders. we should still have a list of venders that gave stuff so if we order from them we can thank them for it. this way they know there donations bring in customers and maybe get more donations. friday we could maybe have something for everyone to get together. friday night i had a good time at car show at truck stop. hopefully it will smell better next year but could have been worse atleats no rain | |

| Ok, I know this may be premature, but I'm putting this out there to gauge intrest. Fri. July 29th, cruise to Watkins Glen International raceway and do a group Thunder Road Tour with the wagons. What: -3 paced laps around the Glen (55 m.p.h. limited) -Track photographer takes Pics of the wagons altogether on the starting grid and at certain places around the track, and or our own photographer (?), depends on the day. -Cool other things to see in the town of Watkins Glen, History, museums, shops, and of course the gourge. Where: -South end of Seneca Lake, about 45 min. from Geneva. When: -July 29th, 2011 -at 12noon, or 5pm Price: -$25.00 per car, track photagrapher pics extra, discount for car clubs (depends on # of cars signed up) http://www.theglen.com/Plan-Your-Visit/Thunder-Road-Tours.aspxWhat do ya'll think, sounds like a blast to me.
