Yes, passengers of any age are welcome as long as they are in age appropriate seating (car seats, seat belts). Mike

| Hmm, this Watkins Glen thing sounds tempting. Depends if I can get the full day off to leave early on the 29th or not. Mike, when would you need a final count by? | |

If it's the one I"m thinking of, you can see one from the other. 1-2 blocks walk I think?

Its a nice place. Word of warning thou, the rooms are a bit small. We had to add a rollaway cot to our room and there was almost no room to move after.

| Ok, fine... I'm IN! That Watkins Glen trip will be hard to pass up! Just booked a suite at the Microtel for the 29th and 30th! Hope to bring Keri-Lyn and Bella, too. They've had fun each year, so I don't see why not! Now I gotta get working... Need to get a LOT of stuff done before she's presentable! (The MARSHMALLOW! ) | |

Wish I could make it, but with the price of gas at $4...... 4x3000/23 = over $500 just in gas don't see it happening, not to mention having to use 50% of my allotted vacation time for the year...will miss you all though

These cars are great on the highway, and the miles aren't bad. But they're not THAT great.

| I booked at the Microtel 29-31 July. Booking online was $15/night cheaper than over the phone. I have Friday off, so I'd be down for the track.

| Just want to let you all know I will be donating a $50 gas card in the name of Lornejay for helping me out. He didn't want any money for his parts, so I told him I will get a gas card to be given away at the fest. just not 100% sure on the particulars on how were going to give it away. Joel maybe you can think of something. I was thinking anyone outside of Ny state is in on it. Who knows though,.. it be determined I guess. | |

I did a poor job at organizing that aspect of things last year, thinking that people would simply have them in the back of the wagon with a sign to swap. As such, there was no clear cut indication as to who was sharing, and not much swapping went on that I knew of. Maybe this year it should done by bringing all the beers and participants to the pavilion at a certain hour if you are swapping. That way all the beer is in one place at one time to be swapped around. It should be give one, swap one out from your local microbrewer. We all know what BUD tastes like. Ideas? Thoughts?

Very cool idea and very nice of you. May I suggest making it a national chain like Shell, Mobil, etc that whoever wins knows they'll be able to use it. just my two cents.

| I convinced my brother, Marc, the 96 DGGM caprice owner to come to WF. We'll only take one vehicle but it'll still be cool. - lakeffect wrote:

I really like sampling what other regions have. Whenever I travel I'll try to get that region's special brew. Regardless, we'll be bringing some Ontario/Quebec microbrews. - cadet57 wrote:

| If you would like to know about Wagonfests in general, and how "we" came to be what we are, This is a great thread to read from beginning to end.
There were early comments  in this thread about having less than one hundred members. We stand today at 1300. Most that posted are still here.
See you at Wagonfest 2016, July 30, at Seneca Lake State Park

| If by "you guys" you mean me, no, I'm not touchy. I mod on a couple of other car forums with much more traffic than this one, and the duties are far from glamorous. I just thought that the mods/admin here would like to know about Fred's status. This place has far more mods than it actually needs. | |
